Marcel Bors is the seventh participant in the De Nis art project. In his contribution, aleading role is set aside for a frog man and a skippy ball. Starting June 19 until September 18, his work can be seen in both niches of Venlo’s city hall façades.

Marcel Bors (Tegelen 1957) lives and works in Nijmegen. Center part of his complete works is man, or more in particular the power of vulnerability. Defining figure of this idea, is the image of a frog. This is also to be seen in his works in the niches of Venlo’s city hall façades. In the front niche, a large yellow ball will be hung in front of a black background. “The height of this niche asks for a powerful visual impulse”, the artist clarifies.
