Wednesday December 15,  new works of art will appear on the façades of Venlo city hall. The second artist to fill in the De Nis project will be the German Claudia Rogge.

To refresh your memory: The De Nis (The Niche) project started end of September as a pilot. For the past months, two gilded satellite dishes by artist Riki Meijling were on display on the front and back façade. On Wednesday December 15 they will be replaced by objects made by Claudia Rogge, an artist originating from Düsseldorf. In the front niche, she will place identical, closely packed together, human bodies walking in line. In the back niche, the video “Birth-Build” will be displayed, a recording of an actual birth.
